During this unique audio tour, a number of trees in the city will take you into their world. They share their history, tell you about the place where they stand, the people who have passed by, and their hopes for the future of Wageningen. From ancient roots to fresh spring buds, listen as trees talk about growth, change and connection. Sometimes with a touch of humour, sometimes with a wise lesson. Always with a good story.
The walk has no set order: you can start at any time and at any participating tree. Scattered throughout the city, you’ll find various trees with a story to tell. Scan the QR codes by the trees and listen in straight away. This way, you’ll discover Wageningen and its trees in a whole new way.

During this tour, you will visit the Wildkansel. From this wildlife observation post, you look out over the nature reserve. All kinds of wildlife can be found in this area. For instance, you have a good chance of spotting a red deer or wild boar. If you are lucky, a fox might pass by, or even a badger. And recently, another four-legged creature has been roaming the Veluwe: the wolf. What you ultimately get to see is a surprise every time.
